INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT FORWARDING
Commercial company “KARLAS”, the true member of the Lithuanian National Road Carriers’ Association “LINAVA”, was established in 1992. During economic and political reforms in the world and in Lithuania, the company successfully planned and efficiently utilised its assets, and to developed both in quality and quantity aspects. Due to the continuous development of business and commercial relations with various customers, currently “Karlas” company interconnects not only the companies registered in Lithuania – “Transporto Vystymo Grupė”, but also Russian companies “Altrans”, “Angelis”, registered in Kaliningrad city, and “Karlaskargotrans” registered in Moscow.
The total fleet of trucks-trailers MAN, VOLVO, MERCEDES BENZ, SKANIA, DAF is over 125. Only in 2007 as many as 28 new trailers and new 28 awning and refrigerator semi-trailers were acquired. The total fleet of various refrigerators (83 units) and awning semi-trailers (42 units) is 125 units. We offer the shipment of freight in refrigerators with two mode chambers, and carcass (installed hooks). In 2008 we acquired 20 more units of tractors and refrigerators. Technical indicators of vehicles of all companies meet the safety requirements of EURO3/EURO4/EURO 5, tractors are supplied with ADR sets necessary for transportation of dangerous cargo, radio connection and mobile GSM telephones. A part of fleet is a supplied with navigation tools ensuring the protection of extra high value freight, and control of transportation process. Technical performance, civil liability insurance of various types, including CMR, experience of drivers and transport managers enable our company to deliver freight for recipients on time, and in case of accidents we ensure reliable and acceptable options of compensation for damage.
